About

I'm Bastien.

I coach by finding the structure under the surface, and the question that moves you.

What I believe
You already have the answers. My job is the question.

I read leadership through energy, an iPEC lens, and I use tools like Nonviolent Communication when they help. But the models are never the point. What matters is the depth underneath them.

My role is to listen for the structure, ask the right questions, and keep the work centred on what you see. I catalyse, you move.

How I got here

I trained as a generalist engineer, then spent a few years in software. Leading teams (and a manager-coach training along the way) put a name on something I'd been doing without thinking: reading the structure under a situation, and being genuinely curious about what moves people. Curious enough to make it the work.

What keeps me here is one moment, again and again. Something clicks for you mid-conversation, and I watch you turn inward, your understanding rearranging itself in real time. It gives me a ridiculous amount of energy. My mind is wired to see that structure. The seeing stays yours.

How I show up

A real conversation, and your own clarity.

I bring full attention and the questions that surface what you already sense. The insight stays yours; my part is to make it usable.

When something shifts, it is because you saw it. Two people thinking honestly together is usually enough for a lot to move.
